June 25th welcomes the EPA Western Region to Hawaii to participate along with many others for a environmental conference at the Hawaii Ocean Institute.
Clark attended the EPA conference in Honolulu, to join with the EPA Western Region for an all day event to address all types of issues to help our environment and local companies. Attendees included equipment manufactures, Department of Defense, (DOD,) engine companies, equipment builders, maintenance and computer people, suppliers, along with co-sponsors like Grace Pacific Corporation, Pacific Bio Fuels. Each of these addressing things that they needed to make all the parts of the program work to fit their needs. Questions about what to use the residue from Bio-Fuels for and how they work for cattle feed, fish food, fertilizer and a host of others to make more than just fuel. It was very obvious that the old adage that the EPA, are the enemy are no longer the case. The attendees found many areas where grants and awards of money are available to help companies meet or exceed the new environmental rules. The events are planned across the country and are a great resource in brainstorming and networking to help not hinder with moving ahead. Don’t miss these events when you see them in your area. |
